I’ll miss this comic. American Barbarian was easily one of my top webcomics for its run. Sure, I love the old conan comics and Jack Kirby, but this was more than just a tribute to those things, it had a heart all its own, and was really funny at times. Just great stuff. I’ll admit I thought it was going to be more of an ongoing serial than a self-contained work, but best close the book when all’s been said and move onto something new and equally amazing.
I really hope the entire comic gets collected in a trade that I can purchase.
Next week, on wednesday 4/4, the American Barbarian graphic novel will be in comic stores.
