There are three pages of Ambarb in there, too. I experimented with a possible way of adding texture to the art in the eventual print iteration.

American Barbarian looks SO freaking AWESOME!!! I can’t wait to check it out!! Godland has been the best book of the past decade and now that it’s drawing to a close, I’m psyched that there’ll be something of its caliber to take its place. I loved the preview, and one of the best parts about it was that newsprint-style color scheme!!! PLEASE use that style when you publish it!!! The whole 4-color process-look of classic newsprint compliments your art perfectly!! Please please please keep that newsprint look!!
