If not for looking at the webcomic thread on Warren Ellis’ Whitechapel I never would have found this comic. Its amazing! I love the art, the colours and the feel of it and, if it’s not insulting, may I say how effortlessly Kirby-esque it is? Though it has enough style of its own to distinguish itself, of course.
“Effortlessly Kirbyesque” sounds right to me. This is probably the least Kirbyesque project I’ve ever done, which tells you how much of a Kirby fan I am. Although I think by not trying so hard to be like Kirby, it’s the closest I’ve ever come to capturing the spirit of his work.
you’re going to print this strip one day, right? I’m too old-fashioned for reading onscreen (sorry).
post-post-apocalypse future barbarians are my favourite genre! Toxl the World-Killer is among my favourite Kirby stories… you carry the torch admirably. The character designs are awesome. Thanks, Tom.
Good idea! No plans for a poster yet, but I do plan on selling the original art to all the pages with a “buy this page” button. I’m still trying to figure out a good way to ship them, though, since the pages are enormous.

I shall keep reading!

Yes, Ilya, there will be a print version collecting the first 10 chapters.
Please tell me you’ll make this page and the next into a poster someday.

Awesome!
Reminds me of the Sandcrawler level from Super Star Wars
Been reading this comic today. This is amazing.
