Just started the comic today and got up to date. Must say that I'm a huge fan. Jack would be proud.
Funny how you said that you are trying not to be Jack, but have become more Jack than ever before. I loved that. I mean, the awkward/near ironic use of "hip at the time" lingo is spot on. The baddies are soo late silver-age they tickle my side. Your splashes are fantastic. And don't think I didn't notice the use of the photo collage (rarely used by Jack during the first few issues of New Gods and I believe three times during the Jimmy Olsen run. The least of which was to feature Don "goody" Rickles)
By the way, been a fan for a long time, since a friend named dropped you becuase of my Kirby-itus (there is no cure).

Wow! I have thought that the spirit of American Patriotism was dead but American Barbarian reminds me that just when our enemies think we are weakest it is when we are actually strongest. But also when they think we are strongest that is when we are actually weakest. So I think American Barbarian should wear a shirt, maybe with short sleeves but definitely with a collar.

Right?
